Greetings and welcome! If you’ve been following my journey at Soul Trine, you know I’m not an astrologer—but I absolutely love astrology. I probably have five or six astrology apps on my phone right now, and if you’re in my personal life, I’ve definitely asked for your birth time. Not because I want to do your natal chart, but because I want you to have the tools to deep dive into yourself.
With regard to astrology, I stay on the fringe with PDF readings about psychic gifts and soul journeys across alien races—but today, we need to talk about something grounded in space and time.
If you’ve felt frustrated, stuck, or like your feet have been held to the fire this past week, there’s a reason. We are sitting in a massive Aries Stellium, and quite frankly, the universe is lighting a fire under our collective asses.
Evolving vs. Stagnating: The Aries Vibe
Aries is the “I Am” frequency. It’s about sovereignty and the initiation into the next version of yourself. Right now, the question we all have to face is: Are you evolving, or are you stagnating? We all have a job to do in this lifetime. If you aren’t moving forward, you have to ask yourself why. This stellium is here to move us past the “why” and into the “do.”
The Engines: Mars & Mercury
Mars is at home in Aries, and it feels like raw gasoline. Personally, I’ve spent the last few days getting things done that I’ve been dragging my feet on for ages. It’s that “let’s go” energy. However, balance is key. We want to get things done without crossing into the “doing too much” space and burning out.
Mercury in Aries is about truth-telling, often without a filter. As a Gemini Sun and Mercury, I know “word vomit” all too well. This transit is giving you the leeway to bring the filter down, but I suggest journaling first. Get it out, organize it, and then speak your truth respectfully. You cannot grow when you are smothered; a restricted throat chakra will eventually act out.
The Architects: Saturn & Neptune
Saturn is that friend who jumps in and asks, “Are we serious right now? What’s the plan?” Saturn dampens the fire just enough to make it make sense. The biggest question Saturn is asking us right now is: “Is this sustainable?” It’s okay to fly off the handle sometimes, but you need a structured way to handle the flight.
Neptune in Aries is a fascinating combination because it turns the dreamer into a Spiritual Warrior. If you’ve been having wild, intense, or even disruptive dreams lately, this is why. Aries takes Neptune’s nebulous visions and gives them an edge. It’s that deep inner knowing—the “Spirit told me” fuel—that says, “I know in my heart I’m supposed to do this.”
In this sign, Neptune isn’t just floating in the clouds; it’s the coach in the huddle clapping its hands and saying, “Hey team! Hey guys, we’ve got work to do! Let’s get it done!” It’s the spiritual gas that powers Mars and Mercury. It transforms a vague idea into a mission. We just have to be careful not to fall into the delusional space. That’s why Saturn is sitting right there, making sure that “Spirit told me” feeling is actually grounded in a plan that works.
The Healing: Chiron
Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is showing us exactly where we feel insecure or hesitant. So many of us spend our lives helping others as a distraction from our own wounds. I’ve been there. But Chiron in this cluster is saying: Heal through action. Reflecting is a small thing; acting is a huge thing. You move from “this is my problem” to “this is how I overcame.”
Deep Dive: The Vertex & Karmic Necessity
There is one more piece of the puzzle that isn’t talked about enough: The Vertex. Often called the “Third Angle” or the “Point of Fate,” the Vertex represents fated encounters and cosmic magnets. While your Ascendant is how you choose to act, the Vertex is what the universe draws to you.
In Aries, the Vertex shifts us from personal choice to karmic necessity. It’s a fated call to action. It creates a “Cosmic Appointment” where heroism isn’t a hobby—it’s a requirement for survival and growth.
I talk about this much more in the audio recording for this session, and I highly recommend you listen to the full version to get the nuance here.
When the Vertex is in Aries, we are pushed into Radical Self-Reliance. The traditional support systems are changing, and the Vertex is forcing us to realize that the cavalry isn’t coming, because we ARE the cavalry.
If you’ve been playing it safe, the Vertex is going to block that “safe” path. We have to be real: a lot of us aren’t brave because we’re too worried about looking crazy. But release that! What seems “safe” is actually the most dangerous place for your soul’s journey because it keeps you from evolving. Growth involves growing pains, but standing still is a far greater risk.
Note: I recommend heading over to Cafe Astrology and pulling your chart with your birth time. Add the Vertex and its opposite, the Anti-Vertex. It’s vital to know where your “cosmic magnet” is sitting right now.
The Council of Fire: The Reading
For this session, we’re doing something very, very different. I’ve laid out seven cards to represent the “Council of Fire”—each one speaking to the specific energy of the planets and points gathering in Aries right now.
I’m showing the cards here, but to get the deep dive and the full message behind each one, please listen to the audio recording. The nuances of how these planetary energies are working together—and what they are demanding of you—are best captured in the full conversation.
We just hit the New Moon yesterday, April 17th. This was the emotional body catching up to the action. It is a Blank Slate moment, and the energy is still extremely fresh. Use the insights from the audio reading to anchor your heart in this reset and move forward with clarity.
Walking into the New Version of You
Initiation is about leaving what no longer serves you at the door and walking into the new. Don’t let the imbalances of the past nag at you or whisper that you aren’t enough.
The fire is lit. The door is open. It’s time to evolve.
What “safe path” are you finally ready to leave behind? Let’s talk about it in the comments.
